How to Play Medieval Empires NFT Game: Everything You Need to Know in 2023

Medieval Empires is a multiplayer strategy game based on the Polygon blockchain. The game’s plot takes place at the end of the 13th century on the territory of modern Türkiye — the leader of the Turkic tribe will have to fight with Edward I, the future king of England. Players can build cities, fight, form alliances, and trade. The game also contains plot quests, neutral tasks, and daily missions.

How to Start Playing Medieval Empires?

The player’s journey in Medieval Empires begins with a PvE zone. You need to build your city and train warriors, as ill-wishers will regularly invade the territory. The goal is to eventually turn their lands into flourishing emirate.

Players can buy new lands as NFTs and then rent them out for the buildings of other players, receiving passive income.

Periodically, mass events will take place — these are PvE missions and large-scale PvP battles, and victory in them will bring a significant reward.

Those who are not interested in fighting and competition can engage in managing their lands and trading. Some goods can be sold as NFTs for cryptocurrency.

The goals in the game are divided into three main categories:

      • Short-term. These are performed throughout the day and include repelling attacks by invaders, crafting items, collecting resources, and improving low-level buildings.
      • Medium-term. They are completed within a month and include upgrading high-level buildings, unlocking new game elements, and participating in single or group tournaments.
      • Long-term. These are earning in-game prestige titles, managing successful clans, and getting into the leaderboards, for example, in PvP.

There are three factions to choose from: Turkish tribes, English crusaders, and Mongol horde. Soon the developers promise to add a fourth faction (Byzantines).

    Factions in Medieval Empires

The game ecosystem is divided into specific areas — provinces and cities are located on the general map of the game world. Most interactions with players will take place within the province. The city is the center of production and progress; here, you can create and upgrade units and mine resources. Visually, the city can be customized to your taste.

    Technological Features of the Project

The Medieval Empires game is based on the Polygon blockchain due to its high speed and low gas fees.

As for the game engine, Unity 2022 Tech Stream is used. The game will be supported on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS platforms. Cross-play is allowed alternately on multiple platforms.
