The Sandbox LAND Are Migrating to a New Smart Contract

The previous LAND smart contract contained a vulnerability that was reported at the end of 2021. Thus, The Sandbox developers announced that LANDs are migrating to a new smart contract.

Currently, all smart contracts have been rigorously audited by two well-known auditors — Certik and Solidified. The results of the audit are posted in the repository on Github.

The developers have created a new migration smart contract so that everyone can transfer their land from one smart contract to another. The project entirely covers gas costs associated. The new contract address is 0x5CC5B05a8A13E3fBDB0BB9FcCd98D38e50F90c38.

The migration interface can be found by clicking on the link. To transfer tokens, you need to log in to the account associated with the wallet that stores tokens and go through a step-by-step process.

As for the timing of migration, each user has the right to transfer the land when it’s convenient. There are no time limits. The team will keep the Sandbox community updated on the overall progress on this issue.
