The Ethereum network is scheduled to undergo an upgrade to the Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism, also known as The Merge.
As it currently stands, the fork is estimated to take place on September 14th/15th. The precise timing depends upon how the network hash rate develops. The Merge will be triggered when the network passes a threshold accumulated difficulty, known as the TTD (terminal total difficulty).
Kindly note that Switchere will suspend all operations with ETH and ERC-20 tokens 2-3 hours ahead of the fork. Thus, we will pause all purchases, exchanges, sells, deposits, and withdrawals related to the abovementioned tokens.
